Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz approved the Nawaz Sharif Kisan Card in a meeting held on agricultural reforms under her chairmanship in Lahore.
According to the announcement issued in this regard, through the Nawaz Sharif Kisan Card, 5 lakh small farmers will be given a loan of 150 billion rupees in a year on easy terms, 30 thousand for the purchase of the best seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides. The loan will be given per acre.
It has been stated in the declaration that various types of subsidies will also be given through Nawaz Sharif Kisan Card, Model Agriculture Centers will be built in collaboration with the private sector across Punjab.
In this regard, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that in the first phase, a model agriculture center will be built in every district, and farmers will get rid of fake fertilizers and medicines.
